The franchisee is required to carry out the sales of products and other business using this single image for which the trademark represents. A franchise refers to the continuous business relationship between the franchisee and the franchisor where the former makes a payment to the latter for the use of the franchisor’s trademark as stipulated in the franchise agreement and is also responsible for covering all costs necessary to open and run the business, and where the franchisor in return provides support and advisory services to the franchisee to effectively operate the business.

What are the future plans for Botejyu Express?

We are currently expanding our business and opening new restaurants in order to introduce our Gotochi (local specialty) yakisoba from all over the nation to as many people as possible. We plan to continue expanding our business not only in Japan, but in Asia, Europe and the United States as well. As for our long-term vision, we hope to provide a multi-national menu introducing “Japanese yakisoba to countries abroad” and importing “yakisoba from around the world to Japan”. This will allow us to create a long-lasting menu that does not rely on a breakthrough of a single item where the popularity of the item will eventually exhaust itself over time.
